There has been a lot of bad stress this year-inflation, worries about recession, a heated political season, just to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>And then there is \u201cgood\u201d stress. What we will focus on is a quick treatment you can do for yourself when you are having a headache.<\/p>\n<p>In my book, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/julstromethod.com\/product\/pain-free-living-book\/\">Treat Yourself to Pain-Free Living<\/a><\/em> I share several techniques to stop headache pain, and I\u2019d like to share one with you right now.\u00a0 This is one of my favorite techniques because it brings relief quickly.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Treatment For Pain In Your Temples<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chaneyhealth.com\/healthtips\/relief-from-holiday-stress-headaches\/treatment-for-headache-pain-woman\/#main\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4433\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chaneyhealth.com\/healthtips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Treatment-For-Headache-Pain-Woman-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chaneyhealth.com\/healthtips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Treatment-For-Headache-Pain-Woman-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.chaneyhealth.com\/healthtips\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Treatment-For-Headache-Pain-Woman.jpg 517w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>If your headache pain is in your temples, it is likely that your temporalis muscles are the culprits. The temporalis muscle is the cause of the throbbing you get in your temples when you have a headache.\u00a0 Fortunately, it\u2019s easy to find, and easy to self-treat.<\/p>\n<p>Place your fingers as shown in this picture.\u00a0 If you clench your teeth, you will feel the muscle \u201cpop out.\u201d\u00a0 Then move your fingers up a little bit toward the top of your head and repeat the clenching movement.<\/p>\n<p>To treat the muscle, just press your finger into a painful point and stay there without moving.\u00a0 After a minute or so, continue pressing on the spot but move your fingers up and down on the same point.<\/p>\n<p>To find other points, simply move your fingers and clench your teeth.\u00a0 If you feel the muscle bulge, that\u2019s a point to treat.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Coming In December<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Foot pain can stop you in your tracks, regardless of whether you are a runner, or you just like to stroll along a garden path.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion in December will be about foot pain that is diagnosed as plantar fasciitis.<\/p>\n<p>Wishing you well,<\/p>\n<p>Julie Donnelly<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.
